Aghaderg hosted An Riocht tonight in the opening round of the U-14 camogie championship. Having met previously in a tightly contested league encounter the girls knew the effort that would be required to secure a win. From the first whistle the girls stepped up providing some great passages of play and sharp shooting. Plenty of tenacious tackling and blocking from our defenders ensured we finished the first half with a 3-3 v 0-0 lead.
