U-15 Hurlers beat Ballycran in the Championship.

Date Filed: 12 August 2022

Well done to the U-15 hurlers who made it two wins from two in this year's championship, with a great win over Ballycran in a very evenly contested game on a scoreline of 5-10 to 1-7.

Throughout a very tight first half both teams traded scores, with Ballycran leading at the halfway stage, 1-7 to 1-5.

In the second half, the boys produced their best hurling of the year to hold Ballycran scoreless for the whole half, as we continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over to overturn the half time deficit. A couple of late goals helped to put a bit of daylight between the sides at the end.
Up next for the team is a trip away to Clonduff.

After the game the parents and club provided food for the team in recognition for the boys winning the Feile and getting to Táin Óg final.
A big thank you to Caroline Burns and all the parents who provided the food.
