Despite struggling to field, our injured players pulled on jerseys and got stuck into this physical encounter.

Bredagh raced into and Early lead and where 1-5 up before Ballyvarley got on the score sheet with a point, before Matthew Malone took a quick 30m free and rifled it into the Bredagh net and added a further 3 points.
Despite a splattering of yellow cards the backs gradually began to get on top and a fantastic display by Dualtach Fionnbhairr along with the other backs gradually pulled them back into the game.
The first half finished with a score line of 1-11 to 2-5.

As the second half developed another free saw Matthew Malone rifle the net again from 30metres and Rory Og followed this up with another cracking goal from a similar position. The large pitch and injured players along with a splattering of Bredagh changes of fresh players saw Bredagh take a grip in the middle of the second half before a strong finish from Ballyvarley.

This was a real gritty display against a strong Bredagh side with every player giving all they had For the full 60 minutes, with just 12 players it was tough going.
