Easy Win For St Colmans

St. Colmans had an early Sunday morning trek to Glasdrumman. Overlooking the sea and with a coastal breeze their journey was not in vain.With centre half back Jamie McAtamney putting the first score on the board followed quickly by a goal from midfielder Reece. Glasdrumman responded with a 5th minute goal. There was some excellent team work and great catching by Shay McGuiness who quickly moved the ball forward for scoring opportunities, and by the 15th min we were leading by 4-09 to Glasdummans 1-01. The half time score was 5-10 to 1-01 with a combination of scores from Jamie, Reece, John McAnearney, Cailum Meara and Conor Molloy.
In the second half St.Colmans played just as well as in the first producing plenty of scores. Shay McGuiness again catching some great balls and this time on 2 occasions putting the ball in the back of the net. Once again Frank Mc Cartan had a good game coming forward from the full back line with team mate Ryan Donnelly and between them scoring 2-03. By the final whistle St.Colmans had a well deserved victory with the final score 9-13 to 2-04.
