Ballyvarley Just Too Strong

U12 Hurlers played at home against Warrenpoint. The boys had a shaky start and stood back from a lot of balls which allowed Warrenpoint to take control of the game. It looked as if it was going to be an evenly contested match with low scores. Then the Ballyvarley boys clicked and put together a run which resulted in two goals and three points. Warrenpoint replied with a goal.

In the middle period, Ballyvarley put on six substitutes, the game was end to end but Ballyvarley took all the scores in this period.

In the final third, Balyvarley dominated the game, their great fielding and tireless effort kept the sliothar in Warrenpoint’s half of the field. Ballyvarley scored a further six goals and three points. Warrenpoint pulled off some excellent saves but were unable to add any scores.
