Match Report
Ballygalget Just Too Strong
Date Filed:
25 May 2010
A strong Ballygalget team proved much too strong for Ballyvarley as the Reds found their pacey play and free scoring difficult to match. However there were many positives from the game. A great goal from Conor McClorey and a likewise stylish point from Patrick Macken were out of the top drawer. A Niall Savage point continued his recent run of good form and Paul O’Neill was back to form with a strong forceful display at midfield yielding three excellent points. Others to impress under pressure at this level were Ciaran Connolly, Eunan McConville, Colm O’Neill and Thomas Lennon.
Final score; Ballygalget 3-22 Ballyvarley 1-5
