Senior Ladies

Last week brought the curtain down on our senior ladies first season in adult football. Despite a great performance against a strong Mayobridge team, we fell short on a scoreline of Aghaderg 3-7 Mayobridge 3-10 and exited the Junior Championship.
This young team has developed and learned so much in their first season in adult football, which culminated in promotion to Division 3 at the first time of asking. What a great achievement for a team with an average age of 17 years!
We look forward to seeing their development next year and beyond in an exciting time for LGFA in the club.
