A home fixture to last years division one team Clonduff saw another close encounter and it was a match they definitely should have won.
Ballyvarley made some poor handling mistakes in the forward line for real good goal chances, whilst we also allowed their half backs to catch a lot of high ball uncontested putting pressure back into the Ballyvarley back line. Despite all this the match went down to the last couple of minutes and Ballyvarley just couldn't hold on to the ball at the most crucial of times. The management team are certainly seeing progress with this team but players need to be composed to close out these tight games in the last ten minutes.
